Editing iTunes Metadata
iHomeServerâ„¢ for iTunes provides comprehensive iTunes metadata editing facilities for audio and video files. You can view and modify files on a
file-by-file basis, or you can modify tracks in bulk
using a single track as a template.
You can also
automatically tag movie and TV series media files with metadata and artwork
from several populate Internet metadata services.
iHomeServer also provides functionality called
'AutoTag' which will automatically tag media with metadata with a single-click
. Watch Folders can be configured to
Auto-Tag media as soon as new media is dropped within them
.
Note that as well as providing these metadata editing facilities in the iHomeServer Management Console, you can also
edit metadata remotely via iHomeServer Web Access
.
Important Note
Note that currently editing metadata in MPG files in not supported. Supported file versions are MP4 and M4V only.
